This program entails over 3,000 hours of specialized instruction and clinical internship, with 500 hours of western medicine.

    Jennifer Burns is a doctor of Oriental medicine licensed in Florida. Jennifer expects to earn national Board certification in early 2012. She is a resident of Gainesville for almost 10 years.

    Jennifer completed her post-graduate studies in Contemporary Oriental Medicine at Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine in 2011. This program specializes in Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis and mental health. She completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Florida majoring in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation with an emphasis in landscape and plants.
    
    Jennifer worked her way through school as a fitness and personal trainer and supervisor at UF, and a supervisor and staff member for Mother Earth (Earth Origins). Her practical experience comparing over-the-counter herbal remedies and supplements to professional-grade prescribed herbal medicines and supplements enhances her ability to customize for you exactly what you need from us, from your trainers, or and from your local health food store.
