Overview

I am continually amazed at our body’s innate knowledge and ability to heal. With compassion and honesty, I support each client in learning to listen to their own body. Communication with each other and understanding one’s body are essential to rediscovering our natural balance. My intention is to create an open and comfortable space for healing and personal growth.

I graduated with Honors from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) in June, 2010. BCMT is one of the premier massage therapy schools in the U.S. I have trained in Zen Shiatsu, Swedish, and Neuromuscular Therapy styles of massage. I’ve also attended the Upledger Institute’s CranioSacral I Training.

My goal is to build lasting and rewarding relationships with my clients and our community by combining the skills I’ve built through my education (both at BCMT and the University of Florida) and my professional and personal life experiences.

My experience working with many different clients ranging from athletes and combat veterans, to the elderly and HIV/AIDS patients, and even animals, has showed me that massage is a powerful way of helping everyone achieve health and balance in their lives.

Massage can serve many purposes and the experience is unique for everyone. Your session could offer a much needed relaxation, a way of helping your body overcome an injury or chronic health concern, a way of learning to listen to your body, or be a part of your health-maintenance program. Everyone’s needs are different, and I am committed to providing a nurturing and safe environment where every client is able to experience the therapeutic benefits of massage.

    I love discovering new vegan and raw food recipes (especially those that I can share with friends!). The joy of good food is a big part of my life.
    
    My daily Bikram yoga practice reminds me that healing comes from within. But I’ve also learned that, with the help of others on the path, our journey to health is often easier. I am eager to share my belief that knowledge of yourself – physically, mentally and emotionally – is the key. Give your body what it needs… and allow it to heal.
